What I Like About Cruise Lines – Part 4 – Princess Cruises & Holland America Line

Good morning everyone! I apologize for not posting recently, I have been very busy, but last night on Twitter I did promise to post a blog today! So, to make up for lost time I will “review” 2 cruise lines today, and look at the end of this post for a trivia question! You can answer this question by tweeting the answer to @adventurevoyage on Twitter! The winner will receive a certificate for a $100 price reduction on a future cruise with us! Now obviously we are not a running cruise line yet, but that certificate will never expire, so you can use it anytime when we start operating in the near future! So, let’s begin with today’s blog!

Princess Cruise Lines is your chance to escape completely from all of your stresses, and worries. Princess is one of the world’s largest cruise lines, and even sail’s to some of the most “uncruised” locations of the world, including, Tahiti, South America, and the South Pacific. The Princess ships are some of the most beautiful ships I have ever seen, with their lobbies using golden ironwork on the elevators, to the beautiful and relaxing pools onboard. Princess also offers many dining choices, from cafe’s to steakhouses, and recently in some renovations onboard some of their ships, transformed their lobbies into piazza’s, which is basically a small Italian town lined with restaurants, bars, and stores. Anyway, you cannot go wrong with a Princess cruise because it seems like there is something for everyone from dining, to entertainment, to the destinations, it is truly an escape from the ordinary.

Holland America Line is truly the “Signature of Excellence,” when it comes to cruising. Holland America is one of the luxury lines in cruising and definitely does a great job of upholding those standards of being a luxury line. The minute you step aboard their ships, you realize, well first of all, the tiny lobby, but you are taken away by some of the decorations, and how beautiful they are. You are immediately being taken care of by the porters onboard and are usually shown your way to your room. From the dining, to the entertainment it is truly luxurious. Holland America even has a retractable sunroof over their main Lido pools on most ships, giving you the opportunity to just relax and lay around even when the weather doesn’t want you too. But, in the end, it all comes down to you, and that is what Holland America is here for, to take care of you, while sailing to some of your favorite destinations worldwide. This is truly the most luxurious way to cruise.

Well, that is it for today (maybe.) We might have a guest post from our CFO later tonight, so just watch out for that post, maybe! Well, here it is, what you have been waiting for, the trivia question. The question will be something about Adventure Voyages, but it will take some research and looking around, maybe on Twitter? Well, here it is,

What date did we first, “tweet?” So on what date was our first tweet?

Remember, the prize is a $100 price reduction on a future cruise with us! Just tweet the answer to us @adventurevoyage, and at 9:00pm EST we will randomly pick a winner! This question might be kind of hard for some people so here is a big hint: http://twitpic.com/5goycd Have a great day everyone!
