Star Pride Joins The Windstar Fleet – The former Seabourn Pride was transferred to Windstar Cruises on April 17th. The new Star Pride, which will sail on its inaugural sailing in May, will undergo a major Windstar transformation over the next few weeks.

Carnival Sunshine Arrives At Port Canaveral – Carnival’s newly transformed Carnival Sunshine has made her inaugural appearance at Port Canaveral, Florida earlier this week. The Carnival Sunshine, the line’s most extensively renovated ship, will begin sailing year round to the Caribbean and the Bahamas on April 19th.

Norwegian Cruise Line Expands Bus Transfers To New York – Norwegian has expanded their existing motor coach transfers to their terminal in New York City. The new expansion will now allow guests from Warwick, RI; New London, CT; New Haven, CT; Bridgeport, CT; Braintree, MA; Worcester, MA; Springfield, MA; Hartford, CT; Woburn, MA; Framingham, MA; Salem,  NH; Arlington, VA; Baltimore, MD; Wilmington, DE; Philadelphia, PA; and East Brunswick, NJ direct motor coach service to their ship in New York City.

Holland America Line Gives Back – Following Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu’s appearance aboard Holland America Line’s Grand World Voyage, the line has donated $100,000  to the Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation. The generous donation by Holland America Line will be put towards the foundation’s goal of teaching one million young people the power of peace within, peace between, and peace among all people.
