MSC Opens “Diva” Contest For MSC Divina Inaugural Sailing From Miami

MSC Cruises has opened a new contest, asking guests to shoot a short video detailing how they live the diva life.

“Divas” who wish to enter the contest are asked to submit upload their video on  Vine, Instagram or YouTube and are required to be no longer than 60 seconds. The video URL must be entered on the contest entry page with the completed entry form to be eligible, or the hashtag “MSCDivalife” must be included with your video on Instagram and/or Twitter.

Entries will then be posted online, allowing cruisers from around the world to vote on which “diva” should be sent to the MSC Divina.

Prize winners shall be selected by MSC Cruises and the Woobox community and announced on the week of November 4th.  Winners will be invited to participate in the exciting 3-night Caribbean cruise on MSC Divina departing November 20th.  The inaugural sailing will feature  an unforgettable sail-away party with complimentary signature cocktail, spectacular fireworks display, photo opportunities and guest appearance by the MSC Diva, Sophia Loren, MSC memorabilia gifts and a slew of special performances, including a special concert by Cuban singer Carlos Oliva with band “Los Sobrinos del Juez”.

When MSC Divina arrives in PortMiami to sail alternating Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries in Fall 2013, she will be the first of the line’s Fantasia class of ships to sail North American waters and the first MSC vessel to sail from PortMiami. A keystone of the Fantasia class is the MSC Yacht Club, a luxurious “ship-within-a-ship” concept, featuring 24-hour Butler Service, select complimentary wines and spirits, and several private venues, including a panoramic restaurant, Top Sail Lounge, pool and relaxation area as well as private access to the Balinese-inspired MSC Aurea Spa.

The MSC Divina will debut with many new to the American market features, check out the highlights here.
