Carnival Legend Sails TransAtlantic To Europe

For the first time in her history, the Carnival Legend is currently enroute to Barcelona to kick off her upcoming European cruise season.

CARNIVAL LEGENDEarlier this week, the Carnival Legend began a 15 night transAtlantic cruise from Tampa  that will end in Barcelona on April 22nd. Once reaching Barcelona, the Carnival Legend will officially begin her summer cruise season sailing cruises of various lengths departing from the European ports of Barcelona, Venice, and Dover.

The Legend’s arrival in Europe marks the first time a Spirit class ship has sailed in European waters as well as the first time two Carnival ships will sail the Mediterranean at the same time. The other Carnival ship joining the Legend is the soon to be Carnival Sunshine. The Carnival Sunshine will emerge from an extensive drydock in early May.

The Carnival Legend will return to Tampa later this September for her 7 night western Caribbean cruises.
