According to reports from maritime radio and the Disney Cruise Line Blog, the Disney Fantasy has returned to Port Canaveral to perform a medical evacuation of a guest. These reports claim that a guest onboard has suffered a cardiac event, which will require immediate medical attention.

The Disney Fantasy was about an hour and a half into a 7 night eastern Caribbean cruise which departed Port Canaveral this afternoon. The Disney Fantasy has been docked at Port Canaveral since its return around 8:30pm. As of 9:25 pm the Fantasy has not yet left Port Canaveral. There is no word on whether the ship’s itinerary will be altered at this time.

The Disney Fantasy can currently be seen on the Port Canaveral Webcam.
