100,000 Readers

Thank you. Yesterday we reached 100,000 total readers on our 300th day of blogging. This is obviously a huge milestone for me and my co-bloggers and we couldn’t have done it without you. This blog started on June 1, 2011 with 55 readers in my first week. We now have thousands of weekly readers. So, to celebrate 100,000 readers, I thought it would be fun to share the top 5 read articles on the blog, so here we go… *Note – all views are rounded to the nearest thousandth.

  1. Costa Concordia Updates with 39,000 readers.
  2. Our Home Page (Our blogs used to be able to be read on the home page without leaving the page) with 20,000 readers.
  3. Silversea Shadow Updates with 9,000 readers.
  4. My Favorite Carnival Cruise Line Atrium’s with 1,000 readers.
  5. Cruise Sounds with 1,000 listeners/readers.

So once again, thank you for reading along with me, Allan, Jordan, Jenn, and on some occasions Kaleigh from Cruize Cast! Now, obviously we have to reward you for being a loyal blog follower, so on Saturday, March 31st we will tweet 3 trivia questions from our Twitter, one at 11:00am EST, another at 2:00pm, and the final one at 6:00pm. If you tweet us back the correct answer, you will be submitted into our random drawing to win a free Mikey’s Cruise Blog wristband! All of the trivia questions will be something about cruising or the blog, so study up!

So once again, thank you so much for reading along and helping me achieve this great number of 100,000 readers. I am glad that people actually enjoy my blog and I can’t wait to share more cruise news and cruising stories with you for many more years to come. Have a great Friday everyone, and I will leave you with this cool, cruise ship stuff 100,000 reader collage that I made!

Did you figure it out? The funnel is a 1, the life ring is a 0, the hot chocolate is a 0, the propeller is a 0, the porthole thing is another 0, and obviously the Deck 0 sign is a 0. 100,000….yea, clever? I think so. 🙂
